How exactly does Medifast work?

Review: The Zone Diet

The Zone Diet, developed by Barry Sears, PhD, follows the 40:30:30 ratios of carbohydrates to fat to proteins. This distribution of macronutrients is said to be most favorable for weight loss.

What’s the theory?

The principle is that the Zone Diet is based on your hormones and not your calorie intake. Barry Sears further explains that excessive carbohydrate consumption produces insulin, which causes calories to be stored as fat.

“Zone Favorable” meal is when you eat a meal consisting of 40% carbohydrates, 30% fat, and 30% proteins. A weight loss diet following this particular meal plan will result to reduced insulin levels.

This means fewer restrictions on your food choices as long as you’re following the right ratio of carbohydrates, fat, and proteins. It also recommends increased intake of fruits and vegetables.

But wait – there are few drawbacks on this weight loss diet…

In each meal you have to precisely calculate the carbohydrates, fat, and proteins and in your food and this task could be quite tedious for many individuals particularly those with busy schedules.

Review – Phosphacore

Phosphacore is weight loss supplement especially aimed at melting away belly fat. The product claims to “dissolve 7 lbs and 2 inches of abdominal fat every week.”

That’s a pretty fast way of getting rid of love handles, doesn’t it?

But is there proof to back up this claim?

Phosphacore is made up of three ingredients; yes, three fat burning ingredients. Each pill contains pharmaceutical-grade phosphatidylserine, cis-9-trans-11 conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) and ascorbic acid which decrease your cortisol levels (stress hormone), dissolve fat cells, and increase fat oxidation.

With these three ingredients, many are skeptical if this fat loss supplement can really result to an effective weight loss. There is no additional ingredients such as appetite suppressant and metabolism enhancer.

Not only that, there have been no extensive clinical studies to support the effectivity of Phosphacore for effective weight loss.

Review: C9-T11 Weight Loss Pill

What is C9-T11?

This is an isomer of conjugated linoleic acid (CLA), which is said to have fat-burning abilities! C9-T11 stands for cis-9, trans-11 isomer of CLA.

There have been many products advertising C9-T11 as the newest fat-burner in the market today! It aims to burn away excess fat, build up lean muscle mass, and promote weight loss.

There are a lot of fat loss supplements available over the counter and through the internet. And finding one which really works is tricky business.
