Hydrotherapy or water therapy is the use of water in rejuvenating, sustaining, and bringing back health. How does water therapy help? Warm water produces a vasodilation wherein blood is drawn to target tissues. On the other hand, cold water generates vasoconstriction or contracting of the blood vessels which cause blood circulation to slow down, this in turn, reduces muscles spasms, swelling and pain.
